Terms of Service
The service
Dirt Factor gives you race goals, power targets and training plans for gravel and mountain bike racing. These terms cover your account and your use of the Dirt Factor app, website and service.
Your account
You must be at least 18, or have a parent's or guardian's permission, to create an account. Keep your sign-in details private; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at hello@dirtfactor.app if you think someone else has used it.
Acceptable use
Use Dirt Factor for your own training, or with the riders you coach. Don't upload files you have no right to share, try to break or overload the service, access other riders' data, or scrape or resell the service or its results.
Your data
You keep ownership of the rides, files and numbers you add. We use them to run the service for you: to model your races, build your plans and improve the model. We do not sell your data. You can delete your race files, goals, plans and account from your profile at any time.
Connected services
If you connect another service such as Intervals.icu, you allow Dirt Factor to read the data you choose to share and to send planned workouts to it. Those services have their own terms. You can disconnect at any time.
Changes and estimates
Features change, numbers are estimates from a model, and the service may be interrupted, changed or ended at any time. It is provided as is, without warranties of any kind.
Not medical advice
Training plans, power targets and race predictions are general guidance, not medical advice. Check with a doctor before starting or changing a training program, especially if you have a health condition.
Limits
To the fullest extent the law allows, Dirt Factor and its team are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any loss arising from your reliance on the service's estimates, targets or plans.
Ending your account
You can stop using Dirt Factor and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, the app asks you to accept the new version before you continue.

End User License Agreement
License
Dirt Factor grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the Dirt Factor app on devices you own or control, under these terms and the Terms of Service. The app is licensed, not sold.
Restrictions
You may not copy, modify, rent, lease, resell or redistribute the app, reverse engineer it (except where the law allows), remove its notices, or use it to build a competing service.
Ownership
The app, its model, plans, design and content belong to Dirt Factor. Everything not expressly granted here is reserved.
App stores
This agreement is between you and Dirt Factor, not Apple or Google. They are not responsible for the app, its content, support or any claims about it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and may enforce it.
No warranty
The app is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.
Ending the license
This license ends if you break these terms or delete your account. When it ends, stop using the app and delete it.
Assumption of Risk and Liability Waiver
Cycling is risky
Riding and racing bicycles, on and off road, carries real risk of injury and death: crashes, falls, collisions with vehicles, people, animals or objects, equipment failure, terrain, weather, altitude, heat, cold, dehydration and overexertion.
Your choices
You decide when, where and how hard to ride. You are responsible for your own fitness, health, equipment, route, the conditions and for obeying the law and race rules. Stop and seek help if you feel unwell.
You accept the risk
By using Dirt Factor you voluntarily accept all risks of training and racing, whether or not you follow the app's targets and plans.
Release
To the fullest extent the law allows, you release Dirt Factor, its team, coaches and partners from claims for injury, illness, death or property damage arising from your training or racing, including claims based on the app's plans, targets or predictions.
Dirt Factor Premium subscriptions
Dirt Factor Premium is an auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly, bought through the App Store (and later Google Play). Payment is charged to your store account when you confirm. A free trial, if offered, converts to the paid plan when it ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before. The subscription renews automatically at the same price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel any time in your store account settings (on iPhone: Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions). Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. Deleting the app or your Dirt Factor account does not cancel a subscription.
On iOS, the Apple Standard EULA also applies to the app, together with these terms.
